Christmas

A little late, but I finally got around to doing the Christmas post.  So much has been going on in the last couple weeks.  Sloan got a new job in Alabama so we moved to Boaz and are living with my brother, Bobby, and his wife Kaylin until we find a place to live.  We are so thankful they were kind enough to open up their home to us.  Sloan's job will have him working in the Huntsville area and then in a few months he will be working the Huntsville and Birmingham area.  So we have no idea what city we are even going to live in, yet.  The last couple of weeks have been really hard on Ella because of the move; the constant coming and going with the holidays, her birthday party and being sick on top of all that.  I think she is finally getting more comfortable with the situation and getting back to her old self.  We are very happy that we are closer to our families and it is so nice that Ella gets to spend more time with everyone.

Ok, on to Christmas.  We stayed the night at Ellen and Big Mal's the Wednesday night before Christmas and got some playtime in before we had our first gathering at MeMaw's (Sloan's grandmother) in Childersburg, AL on Thursday.

At MeMaw's.  I failed to take many pics.  This is the only one I had...

Every year on Christmas Eve my dad's side of the family gets together.  We always eat tons of food, the kids open gifts and the adults play dirty santa.

We were blessed this year because my grandmother from Korea got to celebrate with us.  She came to visit in November and is leaving in February.  This is only the third time I've ever seen her.  We are all so excited she is here, especially my mom.  This is a four generations picture of her, my mom, all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The "Wilson" fam and spouses.

All the grandchildren.  I was so upset later when I realized I didn't get a pic of my grandfather.

This was on Christmas morning.  Ella loved her blocks!

Hey Jo Jo!

After we had our traditional Christmas morning breakfast and gift exchange in Boaz we headed back to Childersburg for Limbaugh Christmas.

Ella got so many great things but she squealed in excitement when she saw her Dora couch and Sisco the horse she got from Big Mal and Ellie.

All that fun calls for a good night-time bath to wind down.
