Better Late Than Never!

It has been almost a year and a half since my last blog post! It is overwhelming to think about how much has happened since then, and the task of catching up is daunting.  I'm going to try and summarize the best I can, though, because I've already neglected my blog for far too long.  With moving from Tennessee to Boaz, living with my brother for a year, broken computer, new house, no internet service, new baby, etc.,  the blog was definitely on the back burner, but I knew I wanted to come back to it. Here is a little timeline of some events that have happened from my last post until now:
  • July 2012- started building our house.
  • September 2012- my precious Granddaddy went to be with the Lord.
  • October 2012- found out we were pregnant with Norah.
  • December 2012- moved in to new home 2 days before Christmas.  Ella turned 2!
  • January 2013- Ann (Annie) Katherine Limbaugh was born.
  • June 2013- Norah was born June 12th.
  • August 2013- Ella started 2 year old preschool at our church.

 Norah Sloan

First day of school!

Ella was 1 1/2 years last time I posted and a lot has happened with her since then.  Just to name a few things; she got her first haircut when she was about 2 1/2, was potty trained right before Norah was born (took about 3-4 days), started preschool, and moved to a big girl bed in September 2013 and she did great with it!  She has also transitioned very well since Norah has been born.  She is a great, sweet big sister and we couldn't be more proud of her!

Norah was born June 12th and turned 6 months old today.  She weighed 8lbs, 6oz and was 20in long at birth. At her 4 month appointment she weighed 14lbs.

Here are some more tidbits about Norah:
-She has blue eyes
-I think she's only spit up once since we brought her home
-Rolled over back to tummy at 3 1/2 months
-Is a thumb sucker
-Started sleeping through the night at 3 1/2 months

She has been such a great baby.  She is so sweet and laid back.  Sloan and I are so lucky to have such sweet little girls!
